Spanish One will focus on conversational Spanish, actually speaking. Vocabulary will be built through an immersion approach using the Power-Glide Ultimate Spanish Year 1 Book. Only the first half of the book is covered in year one. Supplemental assignments and projects are given to assure an excellent coverage of an equivalent of high school Spanish year one. Grammar is included as it fits into usage. Flash cards and a box to hold them for vocabulary are mandatory. We will also use the 501 Spanish Verb book by Christopher Kendris, (any edition: I like used 5th edition, can be purchased through "cheapbooks.com") and any Spanish-English Dictionary. Used books is the way to go here. Don't need to buy tapes or CD's. When signing up, I will give you ISBN numbers for the books. Will also need a three ring notebook with dividers, lined paper, pencil or pen.
